20 August 2021 Alert Level 4

Dear Parents/Caregivers

We hope everyone is settling into their lockdown routines at home and acknowledge this is a challenging time for all of our families. Please reach out if there is anything we can do to help out.

Home Learning

We appreciate your support of our Home Learning programmes and welcome any feedback. Today at 4:00 pm all teachers will send out the Home Learning for all students via Seesaw for next week’s programme.

Classroom Zoom Sessions

Classroom Zoom sessions will continue next week except on Wednesday during Wellbeing Wednesday.

Additional Zoom Sessions for the Following Groups

ESOL Students

Christine Mason will begin the ESOL Distance Programme starting Monday. Students in the ESOL group will be sent the necessary information.

GATE Students

Rachel Olliver and Anita Knight who teach the GATE Programme at Sunnybrae will begin Zoom sessions on Tuesday. For those students involved in GATE, Anita and Rachel will be in touch.

Reading Recovery Students

Rachel Poole will begin Reading Recovery sessions via zoom with the students who are currently on the programme. Parents of students involved in this programme will be sent the necessary information to enable them to join their child’s individual zoom session.

Wellbeing Wednesday 

Our Wellbeing Team will continue to support our students, staff and families every Wednesday with ideas to try at home.
