Dear Parents/Caregivers,
Today your child will bring home 2 raffle tickets, so please check their school bag.
Over the next 7 weeks, our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is running a fundraising initiative – The Sunnybrae Normal School PTA Fundraiser 2023 – 30 Days of Prizes! All money raised will go towards purchasing new netball/basketball hoops and soccer goals for the new covered turf.
We have fantastic prizes all set out in calendar format; one prize per day for 30 days from 1st to 30th June. Your $10 raffle purchase enters you in the draw and every day a new prize is drawn. If you win a prize and the calendar hasn’t finished, your ticket is placed back into the draw for another chance to win something else!
How does it work?
Each child is given two $10 raffle tickets to sell to family and friends.
Purchasers fill out their name, phone and email address on the ticket stub along with the students name and room number.
Check the Terms & Conditions printed on the ticket.
Return the completed ticket stub to the classroom teacher before 9am Wednesday 31 May to be in the draw. Remember to keep the main section of the ticket as reference for the daily prizes.
How to pay for tickets
MyKindo: You can purchase tickets on myKindo – Pay online and return the completed ticket stub to the classroom teacher ensuring you have ticked the box indicating myKindo payment.
Cash: Cash will need to be placed into a sealed envelope along with the completed ticket stub and handed into the classroom teacher.
Eftpos: is available at the office for parents/caregivers to return the completed ticket stub and pay.
Sell the Most Tickets
There will be a prize for the student in each syndicate (Year 1, Year 2, Year 3 & 4, Year 5 & 6) who sells the most tickets. All students who sell and return their two tickets go in the draw for a voucher. Once your child has sold 2 tickets and returned their stubbs, we can allocate them more to sell if you wish. If you would like more tickets to sell, please send a written note with your child’s name and room number, indicating the number of tickets you would like, and hand it in to the classroom teacher.
Reallocate Tickets
If your child is unable to sell the tickets, please send them back to the office by the end of next week so we can reallocate them to other interested sellers.
Your help with approaching family, friends and workmates for support can help increase sales considerably. The children are being asked not to sell tickets to strangers, classmates or teachers. We hope this will be a successful fundraising venture that encourages our families to actively assist the school.
Yours sincerely
