Grand Unveiling Tomorrow – all welcome

Dear Parents and Caregivers.
This is a reminder notice regarding the Grand Unveiling tomorrow of the four special projects that have been installed at Sunnybrae Normal School.

Everyone is welcome to join in the celebrations starting at 1:45 pm under the Covered Turf on the school field with a demonstration by our Kapa Haka group.

From here, we will move off in our Year Groups, guided by Student Council members, for an overview of all four projects – the Covered Turf on the field, the Mansfield Family Mural in the Hall, the donated Baby Grand Piano in the Music Room and the Community Engagement Murals at the front of the school on Sunnybrae Road.

If you are only able to attend from 3:00 pm, the special projects will be open until 4:00 pm and available for your viewing, guided by your own child.

From 3:00 to 4:00 pm, the PTA will be hosting a Fundraising Cake Stall in the Staffroom and Sausage Sizzle in the Hall Kitchen, so come along and purchase a tasty afternoon snack or early dinner. Please bring gold coins. The Covered Turf will be set up with fun games for the students to enjoy.

If you are supporting our Cake Stall by providing baking – this can be delivered to the Office before 2.30pm. Please make sure your containers are well named, with your child’s name and room number, if you need them returned.
